I confess to being an urbanite: I love walkable urban spaces, designed with people (and preferably, people wearing fancy shoes!) in mind. The Calgary Board of Education downtown is such a place – trees, benches, glass buildings, cement. And a new Good Earth cafe. Something for the eye, something for the stomach, and nothing to ruin my shoes!
You can find this Good Earth Cafe at 908 13th Avenue SW (map). Right now, the place looks new, clean and cozy. Good for people watching or just hanging out. And, strange enough, the cafe sells beer and wine! As for me, I always go for the cranberry blondie square and a cup of tropical green tea.
