Almond Cocoa Truffles

Cocoa and almond, no sugar and 5 minutes prep time. Can you resist it? These ‘truffles’ are delicious and it’s easy to have the ingredients in your household at all times. This is what you need (I got everything in the organic section at Superstore):

      3 tsp cocoa powder;
      Agave syrup to taste;
      2-3 tsp almond butter;
      1 tsp tahini paste.

Instructions:

  • In a small bowl, pour the agave syrup over the cocoa powder. Use as much syrup as needed to prepare a thick paste.
  • Add the almond butter and the tahini paste. Mix well then spoon the mixture into paper-muffin holders. Yields 4 big ‘truffles’.
  • If you feel creative, you can add all sorts of goodies: walnuts, pecans, raisins, pistachio etc.
  • Store in the fridge or eat everything right away!
