Honey mustard ribs


Roasting honey mustard ribs.

I’m running out of time for cooking, so these days I’m looking for easy to prepare dishes. I find the countertop oven very useful: I can just throw in meat or veggies, set it on broil and tah-dah, tasty food is begging to be eaten! Tonight, I’m making mustard and honey pork ribs. It took me 10 minutes to put everything together. I’m paring the meat with steamed potatoes and carrots, mixed with butter and thyme.

Ingredients: 1kg back ribs, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustards, 1tablespoon honey, salt, pepper, thyme, 1 teaspoon oil, 2 tablespoons cooking wine.

1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients (except the ribs, of course).
2. Wash the ribs and using a teaspoon or a brush, spread the mustard mix evenly on the ribs.
3. Place on rack and set the oven to broil (or BBQ them). If you’re using the oven, place a tray with water under the ribs to keep them moist. Cook for 50 minutes (turning them once) at 350F.
